Hawlucha "Battle Pose" Figure

I waited so long for this figure to come out! It was revealed almost a year before! Ah! I was afraid they were going to cancel the set since no word was given about these until the actual release. This is a American only release! So it's very special. It's reminiscent of a Jakk's figure in style and packaging. It's a little smaller than I thought but still the biggest figure in my collection. I'm surprised he even had any posable parts. His arms and head are jointed. They did an excellent job with the sculpt and the wing position. I want an army of them!

As always, I had to paint a shiny variant of this figure. Since it was so big it was much easier to paint than my kids and tomys. His wings and head can still bend and he looks great in my collection!

Hawlucha Kid Figure

The best part of anyone's collection are KID FIGURES! Look! They took awhile to come out compared to all the merch I've accumulated already. I figured when I started collecting him that all I'd have for the longest time is just the kid figure and maybe an MPC but I was dead wrong. I have so much to show for with this collection and all before I got a hold of the kid. It makes me enjoy this piece of merch even more now. He's an excellent sculpt. I love how they positioned the hands outward. I thought they'd be spread out to make it more simplified. I love my box, my sticker and my kids! I know I'll want an army of these to match my Sylveons.

Custom Painted Shiny Hawlucha Kid
A tradition of mine is to repaint shiny variants of my kid figures! I waited until this came before I went at it. I usually do my kids and tomys at once so the colors stay consistent. Hawlucha's shiny is pretty amazing. It's one of my favorite XY shinys ever. The purple features and magenta body screams to me. I love love love his shiny form. His kid figure was rather easy to paint compared to other kids. The open space made it that way. I think the only part where I had to take my time is his green rings around the eyes. He really stands out in my collection. If Hawlucha gets more figures I'm sure I'd get extras and paint him shiny just to add that purpleness to my collection display. ~Painted by me, SlothyShroom.

Here another first! Hawlucha's very first official figure! I ended up with three. One to display in the box, one out of the box and one to repaint shiny. I adore the detail on his feathers and chest tufts.

These look so sharp together. I love them! This one was a little more difficult to paint. The area from the wings to his body was very tight. I had to use a very tiny brush so I wouldn't rub on to one side. The green rings around his eyes were a lot thinner than the kid figure so that was a feat. Again, I'm thrilled to finally have a shiny variant to my Hawlucha collection and I hope it will grow in the future. Painted by me, SlothyShroom.

I got this figure set to get a hold of this awesome box! I'm like a cat. I just want the box! It has a very pretty blue image of Hawlucha on the side and features a screenshot of him doing flying press on the back. :D

Hawlucha Movie Figure Strap

Yay! I love these! The pose is so cool with his one leg up in the air. I had to buy three since these usually have imperfections due to being so small. One has a few scratches, another looks like he has a cold sore. XDDD And the last is perfect. They know I must collect him since they decided to make his strap purple. <3 I'm hoping for more figures in the future.

Yay! Finally a new Hawlucha figure! He needs more! Even though he seems to be in his standard pose it looks a bit different than other figures. His claws face down and he's a little more "chubby" than other figures. It's adorable and I'm glad he was a part of this set!
