パッチール #327 Spinda: The Spot Panda Pokemon
No two Spinda are said to have identical spot patterns on their hides. This Pokémon moves in a curious manner as if it is stumbling in dizziness. Its lurching movements can cause the opponent to become confused. All the Spinda that exist in the world are said to have utterly unique spot patterns. The shaky, tottering steps of this Pokémon give it the appearance of dancing. Its steps are staggering and unsteady, but Spinda thinks it's walking in a straight line.
So, I've always had a soft spot for this Pokemon. I don't know what it is but hoenn Pokemon seem to be my weakness. I've also noticed I collect a lot of normal type Pokemon lines. I never thought that this type would be so special for me. Spinda was always a favorite of mine back in gen 3. I had one on my team even though I knew it never evolved. The no two Spinda spot pattern is genius and I always loved hunting them and seeing all the spot combos that would generate. Spinda's design is so appealing. I love his color scheme and the fact he looks more like a bunny than a Panda. I'm surprised I haven't made the plunge to collect Spinda this entire time. Lucky for me, I already owned a few of his sought after items. He doesn't seem to have that much so I feel like he's manageable. I decided to make a side collection on a whim since collecting Sylveon has died down and is easier to maintain. I've sparked my love for Spinda yet again and now I'd like to collect all his plush, figures and misc. items. I have a majority of it but there's still some fun items out there that I'm after.
Spinda 2003 Japanese Pokedolls
Oh Spinda, why did you get some of the most rare and sought after Pokedolls? I guess I should be lucky that Spinda didn't get just one Pokedoll but three different variants! Finding a complete set of these plush is considered a gem for any Pokedoll collector. To the untrained eye you'd think there was only one design. The spotted eyes and forehead variant seem to be the rarer ones where the side spots variant is the most common. Or as common as a rare Spinda pokedoll can be. These rarer patterns were only released in Japan. I don't know what it is about Hoenn pokedolls but they always seem to look the best in pattern and sturdy-ness. Probably one of my favorite sets I own.

Spinda "Unreleased" Groundbreaker Figure
Spinda Kid (Normal & Heart) Figures
Spinda has two variant kid figures. The normal one has spots above his eyes but they also made a variant with a heart shaped pattern based off the one in the anime. That one is more sought after but not too hard to find.
Clear Spinda Kid (Normal & Heart) Figures
Spinda Custom Shiny Painted Spinda Kid
To celebrate starting my Spinda collection I wanted to get a legit shiny Spinda from it's original game. Which means I'd have to do a full odds hunt in RSE. I went through two phases with Sandshrew shining before it. The second phase was over 20k with two systems! I couldn't believe how long this hunt took. His pattern is very "naked" feeling to me. I was hoping for more spots but I'll take it. I'm thrilled to have one in his original game. I saw a ton of interesting Spinda designs during the hunt. I wanted to paint a kid figure in honor of my in game shiny. COMING SOON~
Spinda Pokedex "Foot Print" Figure
Thees figures are always so pricey and hard to find. Especially when looking for a certain pokemon and to have it still with it's cardboard footprint. The Spinda one is very nice and the sculpt is almost tomy like. Thicker and in a slightly different pose than usual. I love how his paw pad is just two circles on his Pokedex entry. This figure looks as if hes walking.
Spinda Mini Cot Figure
Spinda Light Up Clear Stamp
Neeegh. I'm so lucky. I found this in the best possible way. Just browsing huge lots and in one of the lots I saw a tiiiiiny red dot. I thought it was probably Plusle since it also shares the large red ears and base but nope! This one had a red spot on the back of his head. None of the other clear stampers were even in the lot! My eagle eye came in handy and now I have one of the most sought after Spinda items. Look how gorgeous it is. Probably the fanciest stamper I own. The clear parts light up and the base holds the stamper pad.

Pokecen 2003 Christmas Decorative Plate w/Spinda
I never thought I'd collect Hoenn Christmas goods but here we are. I was originally trying to hunt for the mug but during one of my searches I came across this! I had no idea they made this artwork in plate form. It's very fancy and comes with a stand. I now have this plate and my Christmas Sylveon plate to accompany it. I hope I can find the matching mug soon.

Bandai Spinda Ceramic Mini Mug
Spinda Mega Blok
Spinda Bento Box Gashapon Toy
Another item I never knew existed and if that Teddiursa cover was ever on top I would never have known Spinda was even in there! Look how cute! Spinda's little face with some sushi and rice. Such an interesting choice for a Pokemon toy but I love it.
Yes! Dice are always so annoying to track down. I probably had this one in a lot at some point but didn't even think to keep it at the time. I thought it would take me forever to re-track it. The best way to describe this is just look for the lenticular legends and you'll find it. This one has a holo Kangaskhan but a lenticular Entei on one of the sides. As well as the Bulbasaur line. I think most of my lines have at least ONE dice to call their own.
Bandai Spinda Ball Stopper Face Keychain
2007 Bandai Spinda Keychain
Spinda Comic Book Keychain
Veeeery interesting item. Not only is it a book on a keychain....it gets its own box. Not sure how I'm going to display it. The box is so nice. Spinda is going to color all over the walls with his Charmander friend.
Spinda Mood Medal Coin
Pokecen 2003 "Pokemon Travel" Spinda Can Badge
The cute Pokecen artwork of Spinda with his arms crossed and his ears drooped is in can badge form! He has to share the spotlight with Pika and Wynaut but still! He's there and he's super cute. This is such a odd assortment of badges to be place together.

Pokecen Normal Type Clearfile w/Spinda
All my normal babies on one clearfile (Well, almost, why no sentret line?!) Anyway, Spinda is right in the middle!
2003 Pokecen Christmas Clearfile w/Spinda
I LOVE this artwork but I really didn't want to buy another huge expensive pillow. This clear file is a great replacement. Lots of Hoenn mons getting ready for the holidays. I always forget how big Spinda is in comparison to the starters/Pikachu. He's Slakoth size. This is also super cute because they feature their Pokedolls in the stockings.

Spinda Vs. Cards
I found four vs. cards that feature two winning and two losing. Spinda can smack and be smack'd. Not sure if he's even winning in in the Surskit one, he's so unfazed. The Bannette one is great just to see the new artwork. I'm curious if there are more cards out there.
Spinda Pan Stickers
All three of Spinda's pan stickers. Only got three even though he has so many patterns they could've used. Oh well.
